Beskrivelse
Haiku poetry balances life and culture to extend imaginations beyond the visible. Japan's most famed poet, Basho, believed in communing with nature to gain a sense of the natural world (1644-1694). Basho's principles of simplicity, depth and openness became the basis for his haiku poetry structure (Matsu, 1966). The ability to immerse oneself in God's creation and see beyond the visible side of life undeniably reveals His oneness and wonder. We are designed to experience His grace and abundant joy (Shigematsu, 2013).
