For the History and Memory of the Algerian National Flag

Many Algerian men and women are still unaware of the history of the flag of a free and independent Algeria: People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. On the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of national independence, we offer for publication this collection of information on the Algerian flag, the symbol of all Algerians.Men, women and men have gathered around this flag to celebrate this anniversary, which takes us back to the History and Memory of the years of struggle and combat against French colonialism in Algeria.This publication takes us back to the History and Memory of : " The First of November Appeal: History and Symbol ".Many people are unfamiliar with the Appeal of November 1st 1954, so we thought we'd give them a chance to read this historical excerpt, which deserves so much consideration: reading and understanding.
