A select panel of distinguished fire service educators has updated the renowned "Bread & Butter" fireground training video series. Building on the vast knowledge of the first edition, the new updated video series expands on and illustrates many of the basic skills critical to successful fireground operations--with all new video and graphics. In Ground Ladders, Lt. Mike Ciampo, FDNY, walks us through the proper use of ground ladders on the fireground. Lt. Ciampo illustrates common sense approaches to quickly and safely place and adjust ground ladders, and various leg lock techniques to use while working on ground ladders. He highlights unconventional ways to use ground ladders to help rescue a firefighter as well as make the job safer, easier and more efficient.
