Election Countdown 2020

This is a predictive analysis of the 2020 election, which may be decisive in setting our political path for the next generation, or perhaps even for the rest of the 21st Century. If the Fourth Turning theory is correct, then Donald Trump will either be the last of the Great Unravellers of the old post-WWII globalist order, or the progenitor of the new Populist / Nationalist 21st Century order. Both sides will therefore see the 2020 election as defining the remainder of the 21st Century.I will add an update at the peak of the primary season in spring 2020, and another in October 2020, about a month ahead of the election. We will build a chronicle of how the election looks from different vantage points in time, before it happens. Elections are usually written about when they're over and the results are in. That gives them an aura of inevitability. We'll look at the 2020 election as it progresses and see how accurately we anticipated the outcome.
