Robert Banks Cornelius Jr. was only sixteen when he made the big move from his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, to New York City. The teenager had big dreams of life in the Big Apple and used his passion for business to make that dream come true. Banks Cornelius saved up money waiting tables and completing other jobs to move, and he has called New York home for the past fifty-two years.
Robert Banks Cornelius Jr.'s entrepreneurial exploits don't stop there. In Eagle Eye, he chronicles the many opportunities he seized in his new home and how he turned them into a satisfying career. At the same time, Robert Banks Cornelius Jr. demonstrates that while he may have the brain of a businessman, he also has the heart of an artist. It took him a while to discover his passion for sculpture and poetry, but these artistic exploits have given Banks Cornelius the most joy in his life.
