Would you like to harness the power of the dragon? The dragon has been a symbol of wise power in Asia for centuries. Ferociously strong, yet benevolent, it snakes peacefully through the heavens, ,even preserving the sanctity of the clouds. It is this synergy of vicious capacity and intelligent restraint that has earned the dragon such a position of reverence in the martial arts.
In these pages, we will explore the role of cultivating devastating power and then using it responsibly. We will address some of the larger ideological challenges in the study of violence, through and exploration of both traditional philosophy and cutting edge performance research. Although some strategies and tactics are discussed, they are used as a vehicle to get to the heart of our fundamentals drives. This is not a "how-to" book on self-defense. This is a "why" book, that delves into the core of our beliefs and motivations, in the hopes of bringing greater clarity, confidence, and certainty to every practitioner.
