On the eve of her long anticipated royal wedding, an icy chill trickles down the spin of beautiful Queen Adera. The hammer of hoof beats echo like vile thunder as a black carriage enters the Castle's cobblestone courtyard. Ancient guests she prayed would not attend have arrived. Beneath the silvery glow of an ominous moon, a breathtaking fantasy wedding unites two destined hearts. However, the festive night transforms into a living nightmare when a warning of impending doom is foolishly ignored. Bowlandria's princess has been kidnapped by a strikingly handsome, powerful, and nefarious self-appointed demigod. A unique assemblage of friends unites and race against time to save the royal sibling's life. The journey to Mantalac is long and treacherous. Inexplicable danger is never more than a step away as the group penetrates mysterious new lands and encounter exotic entities. There is another, however, who yearns to be freed. A benevolent being, imprisoned and bound by an immoral transformation. The repugnant creature sobs as it paces the dungeon floor in anguished anticipation of what must transpire.
