A popular religious leader is brutally murdered in the city of New Augustine. The culprit is none other than his twin brother, James Adamson, a former film executive, disgraced and despised by society for his actions in the past. He immediately feels the weight of his sins but the consequences are just beginning to emerge. Facing the death penalty, he expresses remorse but the demons of his psyche have already been devouring his soul for a long time.
