Brock Purdy

Brock Purdy is an American football quarterback who plays for the Iowa State Cyclones. He was born in Queen Creek, Arizona, and is the son of Shawn and Michelle Purdy. Purdy has two older brothers, Chubba and Britton.

Purdy played high school football at Perry High School in Gilbert, Arizona. He was rated a four-star recruit by 247Sports and Rivals.com, and committed to Iowa State to play college football.

Purdy re-shirted his freshman year at Iowa State in 2018. In 2019, he served as the backup quarterback to Brock Purdy. In 2020, Purdy became the starting quarterback for the Cyclones. He led the team to a 9-3 record and a Fiesta Bowl victory over Oregon.

In 2021, Purdy led Iowa State to an 8-5 record and a victory over Clemson in the Cheez-It Bowl. He was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and a First-team All-Big 12 selection.

Purdy is considered to be a potential first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. He is known for his accuracy, arm strength, and mobility.
