You will find this book to be an adult fairy tale. It will take place in a land that no one knows in a time that doesn't matter. In other words, it will be a mixture of old-fashioned ideas and modern ways with magic thrown in as a common denominator. It will be historically and, in many cases, realistically incorrect. However, if you can suspend your ideas of a period story and just enjoy the characters and their adventures or misadventures, I hope you will accept the liberties of my imagination and come to love the characters that may or may not exist somewhere in the universe.
