As a Black Man, I have a Duty and Obligation to Support and Defend the Black Woman, in any and every situation she feels threatened.
Black Female Cosplayers face daily onslaughts online and real world attacks by racist trolls. Therefore I've published this Black Girl Magic - Cosplay Edition - She Gon Be Black Today, as a Black Children's Coloring Book to Salute Black Women's strength and integrity against racism worldwide.
And I give much respect to Afrococoapuffs / @Afrococoapuffs defining moment: Hinata isn't Black but She isn't real. She Gon Be Black Today !!!
This Black Girl Magic - Cosplay Edition, depicts 12 Black Female Cosplayers that I've met on Social Media since 2016, that includes quotes from their experiences with online hate and racism.

I've been cosplaying for about 3 years now. I'm currently on hiatus due to health issues.
I've received many comments saying I was too dark to cosplay Yuna.
I get told I won't look good in pics because my skin is dark so it's hard for me to get photographers.

Been turned into gorilla/food memes and told I'm too fat to Cosplay ANY character.

At one point I didn't want to cosplay cause I was worried about the comments from ppl about me being black and cosplaying white characters.
Then I realized I shouldn't let what they think effect me and do it anyway and here I am cosplaying now #CosplayAnyway
