Some sources who express disagreement with the Genesis Gap doctrine of Old Earth Creationism, including those that are online, have implied that the teaching is based on only a few scant scriptures within the Holy Bible however; this is far from being the case. While they would likely never admit to it, they have not in-actuality, heard a complete representation of the teaching presented in full. If they have in fact attended a teaching presentation on the subject, they may have done so with a predisposed determination, to not actually listen to what was being said, for fear that they might become brainwashed or influenced by a "false doctrine."
