THE Sunday school teachers of to-day are a mighty host. In the United States alone they number more than a million and a half of men and women, who lay on the altar of Christ and his Church the voluntary, unpaid, cheerful offering of their tune and their labor. In consecration to their Master, in devotion to their work, in self-denial for the cause, and in love of their pupils, I believe that they are unmatched by any other body of equal number in the land.
