Backpacking with Jesus is the real-life story of one man's thru-hike on the over 2,000 miles Appalachian Trail. Beginning at Springer Mountain in Georgia, the pathway weaves and winds through 14 states to the majestic top of Mount Katahdin in Maine. The author provides a vivid account of the daily challenges faced in living outdoors for nearly five months.
