Caught in a raging storm, a young college student, Aiden Wilson, makes a fateful decision. Or one is made for him. While jogging along a shortcut home through a rain-swept field, he spots a sparkle half-buried in sloppy mud. Little does he realize the changes the mysterious ring will bring to his life.
And through the struggles to control its powers, he uncovers his own. While exploring his ability to reveal the secrets within those around him, his friends and others become ever more entangled.
But the way such power is used depends on the bearer of the ring. And soon after using its full power to establish a unique bond with his best friend's stepmother, Aiden struggles with his newfound influence. Fearful, he restricts its use while studying the ring's capabilities, learning its limitations, and exploiting its weaknesses.
He and the ring uncover secret desires within those they touch. Desires and cravings only he can help them safely explore.
And through it all, Aiden finds and explores his own passions and needs. Will he find true love? Will the ring corrupt him? Will those he's touched require more of him than he can provide? Will any of them ever return to their "normal" lives? And, in its dark corner, what secrets does the ring keep hidden?
This is the first of Aiden's tales within The Ring Saga.
