Beskrivelse

Inducted into The National Library of "THE SONS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION" as the Historical Biography of Abraham Vandal. This book relates the story of Abraham Vandal (1758-1848) who fought with General George Washington at the Battles of White Plains and Long Island during the Revolutionary War; as told by award winning author Nancy Richmond and Vandal Family Association Historian Chuck Hield. Meticulous documentation includes the 1833 Revolutionary War Pension application of Abraham Vandal, Revolutionary War military records, New York State Comptroller records, Sons of the American Revolution records, Masterson Genealogy records, DNA records and Bible records; many of which are contained in an appendix at the back of the book. Large print and easy to read style make it appropriate for school age students as well as adults. This volume has been approved by the current Vandal Family Association President, Gary Charles Walker, who called it "A great novella" and Vandal Family Association Newsletter Editor Frances Vandall Lowe, who stated: "I really enjoyed the book...and the way it was put together."
