In this labor of love Marilyn Nash has brought together the works of master painters, quotations from the great saints and her own prayerful reflections to make the praying of the rosary a truly joyful experience. As an artist and rosary artisan, her many years of designing and praying her own beautiful rosaries now combine to transport the reader into these scenes of holiness and awe. Focusing upon master artists paintings, the reader is transported to the time and place of each mystery of the rosary. Quotes by the great saints which relate to each mystery, give much to contemplate. In addition, her own prayerful reflections are written as conversations with Mary giving the reader a sense of her presence. Her own love of Mary has obviously shaped this visually beautiful, inspiring and insightful work.
