The Godhead - One or Three?It seems a matter of convention today, but it wasn't always so. Before two councils decided we were entitled to their opinion, the concept of a Trinity was reserved for the sun-god religions. By 381 A.D., however, the matter was set in stone, despite the fact that pagans had convened and ruled these councils. With the Father, Son, and Spirit now of the same glory and one splendor, dissenters were madmen and heretics - bloodshed was ahead. "Do you believe in the Trinity?" is the question we must ask.
