Related Services in Special Education is a resource for anyone who works with school-aged children with disabilities to understand the importance of related services and the professionals who provide them, as well as for undergraduate and graduate students learning about special education. Many educators are aware of special education in a broad sense but may not understand the layers of supports and services that can be provided to students within an Individualized Education Program (IEP). This book provides information on the definition of related services, the most common types available, and the professionals who provide them, along with the legal requirements in easy-to-understand language to support educators and administrators in navigating these services.
