If you love college football, you will love this story. This is the story of the legendary college football player named Buzzsaw. This is also the love story of Buzzsaw and his childhood sweetheart, Sissy Smith. Buzzsaw came from humble beginnings. Buzzsaw grew up poor in a small southern town in Arkansas, which was full of wealthy landowners. He fell in love with a wealthy southern bell named Sissy Smith as a teenager. Through hard work and a belief in himself, he had managed to become one of the best players in the history of college football. He became famous for his celebration dance on the field and his unfiltered comments to the media off of the field. Under the leadership of his loveable journeyman coach Greened Burger, Buzzsaw carries the former underdog Panhandle State Pine Devils football team to a national championship. Unfortunately everything falls apart just before the national championship game as Buzzsaw disappears and Greened Burger abandons his team. Many years later, a struggling journalist named Rebbie Steeley is on a mission to uncover what had gone wrong during that fateful season. This is an action packed piece of Americana. The story takes the reader on a quixotic journey across the college football landscape and then into exotic and foreign destinations. The reader will follow Buzzsaw and Rebbie Steeley in these adventures as they confront Vandals, Revolutionaries, Bullies, and Degenerates in their quest for the American Dream.
