Nour and August dream up plans to build a treehouse in a hidden garden and learn valuable lessons on STEAM, growth mindset and community.
Determined to have a fun summer even though they are stuck at home, nine-year-old besties Nour and August sneak out for fresh air one stifling evening. While sheltering from a sudden storm, the friends stumble upon the perfect place for their dream hideaway-a hidden garden full of majestic trees.
Excited to build a treehouse, the friends plot their next steps in secret. They design blueprints, research plant care at the library, and collect necessary tools and materials. Eventually, they realize that "secrets spice up life, but they can also cause problems" and to make the treehouse truly amazing they'll need grown-up help. Once Nour and August reveal their plans, the elders in their community (even older brothers!) offer their expertise and time, sharing tips on gardening, woodworking, and some secrets of their own.
As the treehouse comes to life, so does their community and the once-hidden garden - what was intended to be a secret hideaway becomes the perfect place for their families to celebrate a very important birthday...and a long-lost friendship. Through creativity, hard work, and a bit of mischief, Nour and August realize their dreams, bring people together, and create an unforgettable summer.
