Yoseikan Budo is a Japanese martial art that was established in the early 20th century. A well-rounded approach to martial arts training is emphasized in Yoseikan Budo, which includes training in striking techniques, joint locks, throws, foundation, and weapons. The appellation "Yoseikan" is an oration derived from the dojo in Shizuoka, Japan, where Mochizuki first formulated the system.
Yoseikan Budo is founded on the tenets of character development, physical fitness, practical self-defense, and mental discipline.
It is frequently characterized as an all-encompassing martial arts system that aims to accommodate diverse combat scenarios, as opposed to being restricted to a singular set of techniques or principles.
Due to the internationalization of Yoseikan Budo, dojos (training facilities) can be found in every country. As practitioners refine the techniques and training methods while incorporating elements from other martial arts, the art form continues to develop.
