1744. Vols. 1 and 2. To which is prefixed a life of the honorable Robert Boyle. Found in this volume are: new experiments physico-mechanical, teaching the spring of the air and its effects, made for the most part in a new pneumatical engine; defense of the doctrine touching the spring and weight of the air; an examen of Mr. T. Hobbes his Dialogus Physicus de Natura Aeris; some motives and incentives to the love of God; skeptical chemist or chemico-physical doubts and paradoxes; some considerations touching the usefulness of experimental natural philosophy; and certain physiological essays and other tracts. Due to the age and scarcity of the original we reproduced, some pages may be spotty, faded or difficult to read. Written in Old English.
