The first volume in this two-part oral history brings to life the experiences of British Army soldiers during the Troubles in the mid 1970s. British Army veteran Ken Wharton has written extensively on the bitter conflict in Northern Ireland, shedding light on the experiences and sacrifices of British military and police.
