Beskrivelse
In "The Locked Room" by Elly Griffiths the global pandemic has reached England and Ruth Galloway and DCI Nelson are hindered by lockdown in a murder investigation.
Ruth and her daughter are in lockdown in their cottage in Norfolk, where they try to act as normal as possible, by working and going to school from home. A solace in their isolation is the nice new neighbor, Zoe, who they communicate with from their doorsteps.
DCI Nelson is in the middle of an investigation of a series of suicides, that may turn out to have been murders. When an archaeological find is connected to the possible suicides, Nelson decides to break the curfew rules in order to collaborate with Ruth. When he arrives at the cottage, however, he finds Ruth chatting with Zoe - a woman he recognizes as a caretaker who once went to trial for the murder of her employer.
"The Locked Room" by Elly Griffiths is the fourteenth book in the Dr Ruth Galloway Mysteries series.
