Ronnie Adler traveled half way around the world and met the man of her dreams - Shenzy was handsome, romantic, and he adored her. The only problem was that she couldn't reveal his true identity to her family and friends. Shenzy Misson was the Guardian of Seulmonde, a hidden island paradise that was home to the Fountain of Youth. His duty in life for more than half a century was to safeguard the fountain and protect the borders of his homeland. But once he met Ronnie, everything changed. He would be with her at all costs - even though it meant defying his father's wishes. Unfortunately, his decision to move to America wasn't without issue. He struggled to create a new identity for himself in this new place. At the same time, Ronnie found struggles of her own. Her former lover, Garland Malloy, was furious that she'd moved on and became hell bent on destroying her happiness. Garland became an ever growing source of friction. Ronnie worried that her beloved Shenzy would grow weary with the constant interference - he might become unsettled with their love affair and would return to Seulmonde. He was giving up so much to be with her - the greatest of all was his immortality. With her ailing father to care for and a life that was just beginning to blossom, Ronnie was torn. Could she leave her life behind to follow Shenzy to Seulmonde - again?
