Declan Wilder, a veteran reporter for The Daily Capital newspaper, falls victim to a plot of grand deception. Set up from day one, Declan is manipulated, bullied and blackmailed by MI7 - the purveyors of propaganda since World War I - to report world events. But are the stories true or simply fake news? People do whatever it takes to gain the advantage and profit by deceit. A black dye that absorbs the entire visible spectrum of light is stolen and its inventor murdered.
