Beskrivelse
Freedom Square in Tehran, Iran has been site of violent and bloody demonstrations where desperate Iranians are protesting against a dictatorship government that has suppressed their human rights. For more than forty years, since the Revolution in 1979, Iranians have been involved in a desperate struggle for freedom. They are tired of being held hostage. Iran has become one big prison. In our new book, Mehnoush and I feature the powerful stories of the bloody November 2019 Uprising where 1500 peaceful protesters were executed by the Iran Revolutionary Guard. We also feature stories of artists, political prisoners, and Iranian refugees struggling for the freedoms that you and I take for granted every day.
