Following a troubled childhood, Belmont McRouse, Deputy Administrator of the International Space Agency, dedicated his life to space and the unknown, and Project Astraeus is his ticket back to the stars. With the sudden appearance of a wormhole, his dream of interstellar colonization becomes a reality and he races to accomplish something never before done by mankind.
