Literature that attempts to explain the world around us from a Biblical point of view is quite rare. To make matters worse, only a small percentage of that is written by those who adhere to a literal interpretation of Genesis chapters 1-11. Typically, Christians who fit that label have to read from authors who do not share the same presuppositions of the Earth's past. But that isn't the case here. The research behind this book assumes that the Bible is inerrant and divinely inspired, that Genesis chapters 1-11 record a literal, historical narrative, and that the created world can be properly interpreted when the previous two assumptions are consistently applied.
