Beskrivelse
Pennsylvania was the only one of the original 13 colonies which had all the major building blocks to fuel the Industrial Revolution. The Keystone state gave birth to the coal and steel industries in the U.S., with rich deposits of iron extracted at the French Creek Mine in Chester County well before other resources out West were developed. This booklet highlights selected minerals present around Chester County which played a part in our country's economic development. All of the minerals depicted in the book were collected in and around Chester County, Pennsylvania and are representative of what collectors can expect to find.
