Beskrivelse
This 1833 follow-up to Lamb's popular Essays of Elia (1823) collects more of the essays that established his reputation as one of the supreme English masters of the form. Included is what many critics consider to be his best short work, 'Old China,' as well as the essays Christs Hospital Five-and-Thirty Years Ago, A Chapter on Ears, and A Bachelors Complaint of the Behaviour of Married People.
