Johnny Ryan and his new found friend, Nick Halloway, never imagined summer camp would send them on a journey into a strange world filled with challenges, traps, and dangers like no other place they had ever been. The two build an inseparable bond as they work to free a person they are not even sure is alive. They must face many challenges, knowing the entire time that they too could end up trapped in this strange world they have discovered.
