Welcome to the Midwest, where the loud, "rich" homies got low money and the loud, "broke" homies got no money. True hustlas find a way to the top, and the ones who don't, have to survive on the scraps at the bottom. It's either eat or be eaten, and for young Deontae Jones, eating is his only option. With a Lupus stricken mother and an NBA hopeful of a younger brother, Tae knows that his back is against the wall to make a way for them and himself. There aren't too many options for Deontae in a hood that only real choices are dope dealing or death, so he chooses the latter
