There is a school of thought that was called in the past the Builders and gave rise to Freemasonry and other secret orders that claimed to have received knowledge from beings outside the earth in the form of symbols and geometric languages, for this very reason they called and still call today the Creator of the Great Geometer and the letter G is sacred to them.
They based the construction of temples, palaces and later cathedrals on a complicated system of geometric symbols that later gave rise to Freemasonry. These symbols would have been received from beings outside the earth both in Sumeria and in the east in Mu and Lemuria and in the west of Atlantis giving rise to Stonehenge.
The system is complicated, but at its center is the sacred dodecahedron, a 12-sided figure that would be the central symbol of the universe, the micro cosmos. All the archetypes of the universe would be inserted in it.
This symbol multiplied forms the number 144,000, the key number of the universe in the bible itself, giving rise to the 144,000 elect.

A more stylized figure of his would be the throne chariot, the Merkabah, which gave rise to the Star of David, the symbol of the flag of Israel.
