My name is Sandra, I'm an Author, Award Winning Children's Entertainer and Mum of 2.



 "How to host the perfect kids party" contains over 30 tips for success!   It is aimed at reducing stress and putting the adults in the driving seat with all the skills and knowledge they will need to host a successful kid's party.



I have over 20 years experience of organising and delivering events and am a leading children's entertainer based in Leeds with my own YouTube Channel and Face Book Group.



One of the things I noticed when chatting to my customers was that the same questions kept arising and I also noticed that parents were making the same mistakes at parties I attended.  I was constantly being told by new customers that this was their first big event and that they had no idea what they were doing.  This lack of knowledge has provided me with the perfect opportunity to plug the hole in the market.  Plus, I have already been chatting to mums about my book and they have told me they cannot wait to get a copy and that it's a brilliant idea.



My book is comprehensive and covers all aspects of a party from RSVPs which is often a thorn in my customer's side causing them a lot of frustration to food hygiene and safety issues.  I also cover disability, first aid, invitations, risk assessments down to the minutia aspects of the party e.g. don't forget to take matches to light the candles on the birthday cake.  This is often forgotten and causes parents stress as someone, usually dad, is asked to rush out and grab some matches from a local store or garage.  I also cover potential hazards at a party e.g. the importance of cutting certain food types in half to prevent a child from choking.



My neighbour has 3 children and she said "well done, send me the details".  Colleagues at school have said this book is exactly what they need.
