Our heroine's great grandma comes to visit. And when our heroine goes out the front door to play, Great Grandma tells her, "Don't put the cart before the horse!" Our heroine doesn't understand what her great grandma meant; and so, she goes about telling everyone she knows (beginning with the elephant) what her great grandma told her, to find out if they have any thoughts on the subject. And in the end, she thinks she has figured it out for herself . . . until her great grandma tells her something else.
