English summary: In this volume, Wenz reconstructs the pneumatological process of early church iconography, with emphasis on the history of the Canon and on the formation of the Trinitarian and Christological dogma, which is developed in the context of a biblical theology of the New Testament. In the beginning, the development of the apostolic church in the horizon of world history and in Jewish contexts is outlined; at the end, the author analyzes the scholastic reception of early Church dogma and the relationship of early church and medieval soteriology. Hervorragend zugeschnitten auf die Bedurfnisse von Studierenden im Hauptstudium rekonstruiert Wenz den pneumatologischen Prozess altkirchlicher Lehrbildung unter Konzentration auf die Kanongeschichte und die Ausbildung des trinitarischen und christologischen Dogmas, das im Kontext einer biblischen Theologie des Neuen Testamentes entfaltet wird.
