From Geisha House to God's House - the biography of Tomiko Sakihama Agarie by Susan Fisher published in 2024, is a must read. The reader will have an immediate connection to Tomiko. Traveling with her as a young child from a loving home to and through the tragedies of war with and many times without her family. Learning the ways of the Okinawan people and their history, heritage, strength, sense of honor, tragedies and pure strength is captivating. The insight into the world of Geishas was eye opening. A truly great read.
