Now imagine a scene, in a movie where the president of the United States of America is sitting in the oval-office. When you look at his desk, you immediately notice the bright-red phone standing on his desk. I have to say I do not know if the phone is still used today, but if it is not used - it might still be in place as a back-up means of communication. That bright-red phone is the president's direct communication to all parts of the American government - where such communication is needed. He could also be reached directly in matters of urgency. You did not need to dial any number, you just picked up the phone and the president answered on the other side. This line is/was also protected - storms, earthquakes and bomb-explosions will not damage the line easily. Power-failures also have/had no effect on the presidential-line. This is the way our prayer-life should be like, exactly like that red-phone on the president's desk. Our prayers must be a direct line to our Heavenly Father. No storm in our lives may damage this line. Any failure (mistake or sin) on our part must have no effect on our prayer-life. I did not want to write just another 'how to pray' book. You get a lot of those. This book is intended to supply you with the means, power and knowledge on how to obtain and possess that special "presidential phone-line" with God.
