Beskrivelse
This third edition - previously titled The Sale of Goods Carried by Sea - examines those legal principles of English law which govern the use of bills of lading in international trade. Traditionally dealt with in books covering the law of carriage of goods by sea, bills of lading are examined here in the context of the contract or sale of goods and of the contract setting up a letter of credit. Emphasis is placed upon the tender of bills of lading by sellers to buyers and bankers.
