Chasing Sunset

Allie McCarthy has always been caught between two worlds, with her human father's heritage on one side and her elven mother on the other, making her life a balancing act. That balance is disrupted when a death in Bleidd's family means a trip to his family's home in Fairy and into the depths of elven culture, forcing Allie to face the things she struggles with the most. She knows this is going to be a challenge but nothing could prepare her for the reality of high elven society or the added difficulty of being an empath surrounded by mourning. Dealing with strangers who each have their own agenda, navigating a sea of etiquette, and trying to help Bleidd through his grief is complicated enough but they are quickly drawn into a mystery: the death that called them there may not be what it appeared and a series of strange accidents complicate uncovering the truth.

They are running out of time to find answers, and the consequences of failing may be fatal.
