This book discusses Breast cancer - this is the most frequent neoplasm in women, along with cervical cancer. INCA estimates in 2010 that there were one million new cases a year, with mammography being the main means of diagnosis and prevention. Cancers of hereditary origin are mutations that occur in the Her-2, BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes. Gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD) - is a pathology that has an incidence all over the world, with Brazilian estimates being higher than in other countries, such as North American and European states. In Brazil, the occurrence of GTD is one positive pregnancy to more than 200 negative pregnancies. Regardless of gestational age, the chances of curing GTD are close to 100 per cent in the majority of cases, however, the misfortune caused in the lives of patients. Palliative care - the concept of palliative care, death and dying, end-of-life care and carers, the team's experience of patients' terminality, belief and prejudice. Analyses morally relevant aspects such as advance directives based on bioethics and current legislation.
