St. Max Parish celebrates the sacraments and liturgical life. It also provides shelter for the homeless, jobs for the unemployed, and distributes Bibles to the needy. Strangely, St. Max's manufactures golf balls to raise money for the less fortunate. Top-of-the-line, PGA-approved golf balls which fly longer and more accurately than the finest Titleists or Callaways.
Jim and Dora Mann had raised their son, Eric, in the backseat of a broken-down Plymouth Duster in Florida's Loxahatchee Slough until Father Jacob rescued them.
