Many modern Bible readers have wished they could have sat at the feet of Jesus and his apostles to hear their teachings first hand. But unless you grew up in that time and place, much of their teachings would still be difficult to understand. Traditional views of the Bible lack a cultural understanding which has ultimately caused its messages to be misinterpreted.
