This collection of short stories highlights various people and events that have had a lasting impact on author Tim McLain from his early childhood to present day.
Tim McLain has met some amazing people and experienced interesting things. Many of the people that Tim has had the pleasure of encountering achieved high levels of success, despite incredible adversity. With a folksy, Southern-style and down-to-earth voice, AUsome Folks I've Met shares inspiring tales of talented and interesting people that made an exceptional impact on the lives of others, including Tim. A common thread in many of the stories is a connection with Tim's beloved Auburn University.
Many of the never-before told stories are about Tim's encounters with well-known Auburn sports heroes, such as Bo Jackson, Charles Barkley, Kevin Greene, Tim Hudson, Lewis Colbert, Hal Baird, and others.
