This large, bilingual collection contains work from more than 20 years of writing, including a small -selection of new work, arranged by themes fundamental to Agosin's artistic and critical oeuvre. Her rich Eastern European and Latin American heritage, her experience in exile and her profound humanistic vision accompany the poet as she writes about ancestors, women, children, the poor and the disinherited.
