A tornado of spiritual and moral decay continues to leave a path of destruction. Are you one of those asking, "What is happening to the Church and the nations?" Overall, spiritual conditions are deplorable and depraved as evidenced by the dark cloud of community crime, social elite corruption, gang violence, sex trafficking, escalating illegal drug use and oversose, and rising sucide rate. The relevance of the Church's leadership role to preserve integrity, truth, and hope among the communities is in question. As the light of the world and the salt of the earth, what would the Church do about the devastating aftereffects and emptiness while people grope around in confusion and disillusionment? This is not the time to sit back and wish someone else would take the lead. In Scripture and throughout the history of Christianity, God has responded to the cry of His people by raising anointed men and women to lead the Church and the nations into healing and restoration. Could you be the one the Lord is calling to lead? At the new birth, the Holy One anointed you (see 1 Jn 2:20,27). You therefore, have a rich deposit of anointing in you to take your rightful place for such a time as this. God's people can either sit still and complain or answer the call to lead. The time to turn to the Lord in repentancee as His people is now; He promises to forgive, heal, and restore us (see 2 Chr 7:14).
