America's Super Secret Aircraft

A Detective Story - This work began as an investigation of the UFO phenomena of the 1950s. Flying objects with strange lighting were traveling at tremendous speeds, making right angle turns, and disappearing completely. The investigation into these events turned into a real detective story of deduction, induction, intuition, and clandestine research. Indeed, these were unidentified flying objects to the public, but they were known to the U.S. military and kept under the strictest veils of secrecy. Along with the super aircraft the U.S. and its allies were developing deadly drone warfare aircraft. The technologies involved in military exploration soon had non-military uses. Thus we have computers, the internet, and a plethora of surveillance techniques. The desire and need to improve these aircraft is a matter of utmost national security and so it continues today at a feverish pace. Illustrated.
