This book Agrotechniques and Uses of Medicinal Plants would provide up-to-date information on the subject and fulfill the requirements of the students of Indian Systems of Medicine and those pursuing degree programmes in Agriculture especially the students of forestry/agroforestry. The professionals, teachers, folk healers, practitioners and medicinal plant growers are also likely to be benefited. The book has been divided into five sections namely; forest trees, fruit trees, shrubs, climbers and herbs covering 119 species. Each plant species has been described with their common name, scientific name, family, importance, distribution, medicinal uses, botanical description, soil and climatic requirements and cultural practices. The terminology referred/used in the text has also been explained in the chapter glossary in the end.
